too hip for our own good?

So, we were outside washing our cars on Sunday when the police stopped by. I thought they were going to lecture us about water usage, but instead they chirped their siren and asked if we'd seen a guy wandering around, wearing a white t-shirt and holding a gun. (Would we be outside washing our cars if we had?) It was kind of surreal...Brandon came and told me and I just said "Huh. Well, okay," and Brandon said, "Well, I guess we should go inside then," and so we put away the car wash stuff and the vacuum and went inside and cooked dinner.

We joked that it was just one of our neighbors and he'd probably gone on home, but we set the alarm just in case.

The neighborhood association meeting is tonight, so maybe they'll let us know if they ever found the guy.
