moving to wordpress?

I'm thinking of moving the blog to WordPress, but haven't decided yet. They offer some cool features, but less flexibility with the template (like, none) unless you pay annually and then you can either upload your own or make changes to the ones they offer.

Anyway, check it out here and let me know what you think...I've imported all the posts but haven't quite gotten all the quirks worked out yet.

The Wordpress version looks miles better. I need to move mine too...I'm just terribly lazy about it.

I have wordpress and feel hemmed in by their templates. I like the backgrounds and color options better on Blogger. How do you move a blog to another page and keep your readers?

I changed the header color to green since I first posted the link...I think it keeps the page from looking so bland.

I do like the possibility of pages, but don't like that I can't post an image in the sidebar without purchasing an upgrade and rewriting the code.

I have the domain name www.1928bungalow.com registered (costs me ten bucks a year), so I can transfer it all to WordPress and still keep the same address. Although I guess I need to make sure I can do that without upgrading?

My other complaint is that WP only lets me add Flickr images in the sidebar now, whereas Blogger links to Picasa (or any other site) easily. I ended up doing the photos on a separate page on WP.

I do like the more professional look of WP, though. I just wish I had more flexibility.

Arden, your page looks great, though. Very clean and easy to find things.

I guess we all want some individuality, though, huh? ;)

Also, forgot to add that while it's easy to import a blog INTO WordPress, you can't (as far as I know, at this time) import one into Blogger. Other sites might let you, though.
