the big dig

We finally started excavating the big mound of dirt in the middle of the backyard. There used to be a pond there, and we'd found a ton of flagstone type rocks on the surface of the mound when we first moved in. We want to put a patio in sometime soon, so we've got to get this big hill out of the middle of the yard!
