Keep an eye out for the old privy pit as you do all of that digging, Know it sounds nasty but those old pits can hold many antique bottles among other things. Search out "Privie Diggers". Some interesting stuff.
It looks so good! Our lawn (if you want to call the weeds lawn that is) looks so pathetic. We tried to sow some seeds on a patch in the front in the spring but the grass all died and it looks just as pathetic now. What type of seed did you use?
We used sod, actually. Instant lawn! We used centipede grass, which is what we plan to seed with in the front as well. We got it down at SuperSod at the Farmer's Market in Forest Park.
